The traditional worship service at Huntingdon Valley Presbyterian Church (HVPC) begins every Sunday morning at 11:15 a.m. with an organ prelude. Traditional worship includes singing hymns, Psalms, and spiritual songs.

The Adult Choir leads the music portion of the worship on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, except during the summer. The choir repertoire includes a variety of music styles from arrangements of the great hymns of the faith to more contemporary musical settings.

The atmosphere is more formal, but friendly.

The full service includes scripture readings, corporate prayer, and a solidly biblical sermon. The same sermon is delivered in the contemporary service.
